Pantry Plus of Seneca County, was formed in September of 2011 as a 501c3 Non-Profit Charitable organization. We operate out of an office in Downtown Fostoria, but we serve all of Seneca County including those people who live in the 44830 Fostoria Zip. Pantry Plus was the former Fostoria Food Pantry and was operated by the American Red Cross from 1983 until 2011 when Pantry Plus formed.

Originally, we were a box pantry. Meaning, when a client came to pick up food we had pre-packed it in a box, and they took whatever we gave them. We are now a “choice Pantry” where you walk down a grocery isle like a little store and choose the items your family will use.

To serve the people in Fostoria, Tiffin and Seneca County. To provide a confidential environment that respects an individual’s privacy and dignity. To provide a basis for understanding that people who use Pantry Plus could be our neighbors and friends who are struggling without our knowledge. “Not a hand out, but a hand up”
